BITU's Groundbreaking Symposium on Digital Transformation: Empowering Jamaica's Labor Force for the Future

The Bustamante Industrial Trade Union (BITU) is the oldest and largest multi-industrial and general trade union in Jamaica celebrating 85 years in 2023.

Pictorial highlights of the BITU’s first ever Symposium on Digital Transformation and Upskilling of the Labour Force (November 9) which was held under the theme, “Working Stronger Together”.

The Symposium was a partnership with the HEART/NSTA Trust which sought to expose stakeholders to world class presentations and cross-fertilized discourse with a view towards understanding and exploring the importance and benefits of digital transformation to build worker competence and efficiency, as well as boost morale and productivity.
