Labour Ministry intervenes in dispute at BOJ
The Ministry of Labour has intervened in the industrial dispute at the Bank of Jamaica (BOJ).
It has scheduled a conciliation meeting for Monday with officials of the Central Bank and the Bustamante Industrial Trade Union which represents workers at the BOJ.
A statement from the Ministry says the meeting has been called to deal with a 72-hour Notice of Industrial Action, issued by the Union.
This is in relation to alleged anomalies in the compensation structure at the Bank of Jamaica.
